Pear blueberry sauce

Try this sauce on yogurt, pancakes, or waffles.

Experiment with different combination of fruits such as apples, plums, peaches and strawberries.

  • 8 medium pears, peeled and diced
  • 625 mL (2 ½ cups) blueberries
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp) water
  1. Place all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Cook, uncovered over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  2. When cool, purée in a food processor until smooth. Chill and serve.
