Banana strawberry muffins

These muffins are full of fresh fruit flavour with a hint of cinnamon that may even remind you of a banana split! Perfect to make ahead and freeze.

  1. Step 1

    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon; set aside.
  2. Step 2

    In another bowl, whisk together egg whites and sugar until well combined. Stir in bananas, applesauce and oil. Pour over flour mixture and stir until just moistened. Stir in strawberries.
  3. Step 3

    Divide batter among 12 greased or paper lined muffin tins. Bake in 375° F (190° C) oven for about 20 minutes or until tester comes out clean when tested.
