2025 federal election party responses

Find out how Canada’s main political parties responded to our priorities.

During the 2025 federal election, Heart & Stroke asked federal political parties about their position on a number of Heart & Stroke advocacy priorities; and they were given a minimum of 15 days to provide their responses.  Each year, we encourage Members of Parliament, Senators and public servants to help reduce the burdens of heart disease and stroke through a number of policy measures.

The questions and (verbatim) responses to each party survey can be found below. We have translated responses into both official languages:

Bloc Québécois

Conservative Party of Canada The Conservative Party of Canada received the questionnaire and was invited to participate, but did not respond to Heart & Stroke.

Liberal Party of Canada

New Democratic Party of Canada
