Accomplished fundraising leader joins Heart & Stroke

Brady Carballo-Hambleton appointed senior vice president for Ontario and Nunavut

Toronto - Heart & Stroke is thrilled to announce the appointment of Brady Carballo-Hambleton as senior vice president, Ontario and Nunavut.

“Brady is an accomplished, results-focused fundraising leader with an in-depth understanding of how to create meaningful experiences for supporters. As a key member of our executive team, he will champion fund development in Canada’s largest province.”  says Doug Roth, CEO and Heart & Stroke. “Brady previously worked with us at Heart & Stroke, and I am very excited to welcome him back to the team.”

Carballo-Hambleton will be responsible for fund development and mission initiatives in both Ontario and Nunavut. He will work with other members of Heart & Stroke’s executive team, as well as other cross-functional teams across Canada to grow the organization’s strategic vision while delivering on its mission to beat heart disease and stroke.

“Returning to Heart & Stroke feels like coming home,” says Carballo-Hambleton. “I am so humbled to have the opportunity to further Heart & Stroke’s mission of beating heart disease and stroke while supporting lifesaving women’s health initiatives. I lost both my mother and mother-in-law to heart disease and I am so proud to do this work in their memory, while helping to create more positive outcomes for people living with heart disease and stroke across Canada.”

Prior to entering his new role, Carballo-Hambleton served as vice president, marketing, engagement and analytics at Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations. Here, he was directly responsible for integrated fundraising, the stakeholder experience, marketing and communications and data analytics portfolio management. In addition, he successfully led the digital and brand transformations of Children’s Miracle Network and Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF).

Carballo-Hambleton is also a standing member of the Canadian Marketing Association’s Not-for-Profit Council and is a board member of the Greater Toronto Area chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
