What does the new process look like? Triggered by their initial expression of interest, each instructor candidate will automatically receive a planned and helpful series of e-communications from Heart & Stroke that lead them, step-by-step, through the process from application to full instructor status. Candidates will clearly see the tasks they need to complete before they arrive at your course. In addition, we are establishing a minimum lead time and will now allow candidates to purchase their own materials before they attend a course, so they have ample time to review and prepare. Candidates will come to class familiar with important information, training requirements and policies. And you, as the instructor trainer, master instructor or program administrator, will receive automatic updates as your candidates complete the steps. They will arrive at your course ready to learn and you can focus on doing what you are passionate about - educating!
