Montréal  –  Heart & Stroke is pleased to announce that the fourth edition of A jewel of life, launched in partnership Jean Coutu and Josée Boudreault, in addition to the media partners Rythme, M 102.9 and The Beat, raised more than $120,000. A total of more than $690,000 was raised since the launch of the first campaign.

Throughout August up to September 30, limited-edition bracelets made of semi-precious stones in the Heart & Stroke colours were sold for $10 each at all stores affiliated to the Jean Coutu network throughout Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick. In addition to raising funds that will help fund tomorrow’s medical breakthroughs, there was an important awareness-building component to A jewel of life. Each bracelet was sold with a card showing the FAST signs of stroke and a picture of Josée Boudreault, host and professional speaker, who suffered a stroke in July 2016 and in September 2017. The 2020 campaign helped more than 12,000 Quebecers learn the signs of stroke.

Heart & Stroke would like to thank the Jean Coutu network, Rythme, M 102.9 and The Beat, generous partners for this edition of A jewel of life, and Josée Boudreault, spokesperson.
