Overview:
Providing administrative support for some of the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s daily operations in our provincial office located in Halifax.
Location: Halifax, NS
Commitment: -4 hours per week during regular office hours (9:00 am-4:30 pm, M-f)
Responsibilities:
- Data entry to prepare receipts for various fundraising events
- Confirming donor information through online resources (Canada Post, Canada411, etc.)
- Stuffing and mailing tax receipts
- Counting funds received at the office
- Preparing kits/supplies for various fundraising campaigns
- Assisting with other administrative tasks (filing, clean up, photocopying, etc.)
Qualities you’ll need for this role:
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work extended hours in front of a computer screen
- Comfortable handling money
- Excellent organizational skills
