Help Administrative support to our office team

Purpose: To provide clerical and administrative assistance in assigned department

Location: all Alberta area offices (Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Calgary, Edmonton)

Responsibilities Outlined:

  • To become familiar with the Heart and Stroke Foundation's daily office functioning
  • To assist with assigned administrative tasks, such as photocopying, phoning, faxing, receipting, sorting etc.
  • To help establish a customer service culture in the office


  • Tasks and projects are completed on time
  • Professional office functioning

Qualifications/Competencies Required:

  • Punctual and reliable once time has been arranged
  • Ability to be productive as part of a team as well as individual within an office setting
  • Experience working with computers and various software and office machinery
  • Willingness to learn about heart disease and stroke
  • Willingness to learn about the Heart and Stroke Foundation and its role in the community


  • Orientation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • Basic training for familiarity with office equipment

Time Commitment:

  • Orientation and training sessions as required
  • Minimum of 2 hours per week
  • Available during office hours
