Smoothies fit the bill pre- or post-workout because they are quick and easy to make. 

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) seedless green grapes
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) ripe banana slices
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped kale
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) canola oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) ice cubes
Directions
  1.  In blender, combine all ingredients. Blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute or until desired smoothness is achieved.
